Zaamin is a small-scale business by Ifrah Khan that features hand-crafted jewelry. Zaamin or ‘Guarantor’ holds a rich affixation with steles or “Taweez” in the sub-continent. This interconnection's prominence reflects the region's rich history and culture. Belonging to one of the cultural capitals of the Indo-Pak, androon Lahore, Ifrah lives among the Darbars and Mazars of the Sufis and the Mystics. Having carried a Taweez all her life, she grew a personal affiliation towards it, and from there onwards she coined this venture – her expression of this fragment of our culture as a statement of fashion and belonging through a diverse assortment of metals and threads.
